I think I may have some related conditions, and none of the doctors I have seen thus far have taken a proactive approach to investigating anything. I have never had my urine checked for anything but bacteria, I have never had a blood test, I have never had any kind of MRI or imaging done. I want to have my blood checked for thyroid problems, for lack of vitamins/minerals, for celiac, etc. I want to have some sort of internal imaging done, my symptoms did all start after an appendectomy. All the doctors I see are more than willing to give me more meds from my IC, but are not willing to investigate the possibility of any related conditions, and I really feel like IC is not it, I have some other associated conditions. I can sum it up by saying, throughout the three year period before I knew I had IC, during my diagnosis, and since then I have not had a single blood test for anything!!

Has anyone had any luck with anybody willing to do a thorough search of related conditions in and around NYC?
