Question Does anyone know a good Urologist in Suffolk County New York?

I was going to make an appt with Dr. Robert Moldwin, but unfortunately he does not accept my insurance. The visit would have been much to costly.
I am looking for a Urologist in Suffolk County New York that accepts Oxford Health Insurance.
If anyone on the site is aware of one. I would really appreciate the information.
The Dr. Daniel Han who I am seeing right now his office said he has only seen 5% IC patients in his practice. I also checked into Dr. Scott Press, and his office said he has only treated around 50 patients with IC.
I am looking for a Doctor with more experience with IC, and I don't know where else to turn,
I hope someone on this site could help.
    Thank You So Much!

If you have a doctor who is willing to work with you, it could be a good idea to stick with him. You might think about one appointment with Dr. Moldwin, then take his recommendations back to your doctor.

    Warm healing thoughts,

What I did with Dr. Moldwin is that I had my Surgeon call him. We worked over the phone all 3 of us. I wasn't getting diagnosed though. It was for chronic pelvic pain. He gave me the name of my current pelvic pain doctor and it turned out to answer lots of questions. Sometimes Doctors will actually talk to each other.

    Well Wishes,

I have been to Dr. Moldwin twice and paid via credit card, then turned in the claim to my insurance company myself and was reimbursed. I wasn't sure if your insurance wouldn't pay because he is out of network or if you could get reimbursed. The office will give you a form that is easy to turn into your insurance company. I think Dr. Moldwin's office doesn't take insurance because they have people coming from all over the world, and it would be extremely complex and expensive to deal with that many insurance companies.

I traveled from out of state to see Dr. Moldwin and he is one of the most important doctors on my medical team. I don't go frequently but do keep in contact every couple of years. Back in 2001, he was a live saver! He is on my short list of great doctors. I have seen over a dozen uros all over the US and he is one of the best.
