    Cruise Tips

I'm also going on a cruise - to Alaska - next month. I called the cruise line, spoke to someone about my food restrictions. She noted it on my information and told me to talk to the chef on board. Looks like that will be willing to help you . . . After my trip, I'll let you know if they did. Being new to IC, there is still going to be temptation especially with all that glorious foods but I react to EVERYTHING so far, so I want to be able to enjoy my cruise so I'm going to say a lotta prayers and stay away from it.

Good luck to you and enjoy your trip.

I never get seasick, so I don't know about what is safe to take. I would ask your doctor. Are you going on one of the bigger ships? Normally people don't tend to get sick on those. My hubby gets motion sickness, but he was fine on the cruise. He did go prepared though! I have always heard that the secret it to keep something on your stomach. That is why they have food available 24/7.

They definitely will take care of you! They even made me special desserts and yes it is hard to stay away from the bad food especially the midnight buffets with the chocolate covered strawberries!

Have a great time. I am so jealous.

Cruises are so much fun!!!!! You'll have a wonderful time! I had no problems with the diet while on the cruise-there's soooo much to eat and choose from!!! I'm going on my 2nd cruise in January!!!! so excited! What cruise line are you taking? Royal Carribean has a place on their site where you can see the floor plans of the ships and it tells you where all the restrooms are!!! Very helpful.
