Hey everyone... Curious if anyone has been diagnosed with this... my doc has recently done tests for this with me... i have deveopled some strange symptoms in the last few months with my tongue... it feels coated all the time. I have been treated with antifungals in case it was yeast, but to no avail (unless it is a resistant strain of yeast?) and my doc doesnt know what to think... My Naturopath believes due to a heavy course of antibiotics prior to IC diagnosis, that my natural flora was shot out of whack, which is why my tongue is so strange. I dont have dry eyes, as it states most with Sjordens have both, but i do have dry skin. I have my entire life. Sometimes my tongue feels dry, but i still produce saliva... it just feels like its caoted all the time. Im waiting on my test results, but im down in the dumps, because truthfully I dont want to be diagnosed with another syndrome/disease. It has been a rough 8 months being diagnosed with IC as it is... i just want to feel normal, and sometimes i get kind of down, dealing with all of this. 8 months ago i was so healthy... where does this all come from?
Anyway, i was wondering if anyone out there has SS and if you can tell me a bit about it, and how you deal with the symptoms!
