on new medication i'm alittle scared
i went to my psychologist monday july 31st . he took me off of ambiem cr after i told him it make me do crazy things.. so he have me on trazodone 100mg tablets its for depression and people who have problems sleeping. and he has me lamictal 100mg tables it treats people with mood disorder bi-poler. every since i started the meds i've been shakey and jumpy all over it's hard for me to hold things. i'm confused i don't know if it's lamictal or trazodone thats causing this. i read that lamictal have many side effects. my psychologist did tell me that it can cause rashes. i'm getting alittle forgetful as well.. i actually thought today was tuesday.

I am glad that you are doing better, but if necessary, they should have someone on call at your doctor's office, or call your pharmacist. Alot of times when I start on new meds, I just take 1 of them at first so I can watch for the side effects that are mentioned in the med literature.
I haven't taken anti-depressants in a while, but whenever I did, I normally felt jumpy at first.
Ambien CR caused strange things with me too. I always felt like I was itchy all over. It never kept me asleep, so I would get up and do things at night. One time I even tried to clean my carpet in my dining room (with bleach). Needless to say...the carpet was ruined.
