Yeah!!!

As some of you know i've been having a hard time trying to get my bf Jamen to meet my cousins. (the only family I have left) Every time there is a family event for me I always invite him and he never wants to go, he'd make and excuse saying he's not ready to meet them. B/c of all the pressure and rejection that my parents gave him. But I told him over and over again that my cousins arent anything like my parents and they love him already for the way he's treated me by taking me in and loving me the way my parents should have.
So yesterday jamen had to go to the fitness store to get a rack to put his new dumbells on. I told him to go without me (it's a good thing I didnt go...) b/c about 20 mins after he left my cousin joey called me. He owns a window washing company and was working in the next town, he said he had some time to spare before he had to pick up his wife carley and then go home. He wanted to know if he could stop by and say hi and hang out for a few mins. I told him it was ok. then I called jamen and said my cousin is stoping by for a few mins. He said ok. So joey came and we were hanging outside talking. Jamen finally came home about 5 mins later. I was sweating bullets b/c i've never had my bf meet any of my cousins or family members before not to mention all this build up of emotions of jamen not wanting to meet them. So they shook hands and we were all talking. they got along really well, jamen was showing my cousin his babies(his truck and car) lol I was nervous they would get along but they did!!!! Whew... what a load of my shoulders that was. After joey left I said to jay... "that wasnt so bad now was it??" he laughed and said no. I just hope in the future he will finally come and realize my family is very accepting and fun to hang out with. I'm keeping my fingers crossed b/c joey invited both of us to hang out in the next few weeks down the jersey shore and drink and go on the jet skiis. I'm praying that everything goes well. thanks for listening guys!
