Any last minute advice? Hearing on Wed!!

Hi All!

Does anyone have any last minute advice for my SSD hearing? The hearing was finally scheduled for this coming Wed.. after waiting almost a year from my last denial. I have had reports from my gyn and my uro sent to the administrative law judge and they were both favorable. I now know that an internist will be present at the hearing and will be asking me questions along with the judge. Also my lawyer will of course be there with me.

Have any of you had family or friends go along and tell the judge how they have seen you effected by IC? Is there anything I need to take with me? Are there any questions you all can think of that the judge asked you during your hearing? I am just soooo very nervous... just hate to tell "the whole long story again". blah

How long does the hearing take? I am still flaring something terrible, my frequency has been at times up to 3-4 times an hour and the pain is pretty icky too. I am afraid if I take my pain medication that I will be all "fuzzyheaded" during the hearing and not be able to think clearly, but on the other hand if I don't take it I am not sure how I will get thru it.

I guess if there is anything you all can think of about the hearing process, even if it is something small.. please let me know. I am sort of spazzing out here and ya'll Know that is so wonderful for my bladder. eek

I will be praying for you. angel Hopefully everything will go fine. Just be yourself. I am in the same boat you are in, it wont be too much longer until I get a date. At least that is what they say
