    Post T.E.N.S. Prescription

My mother needs the T.E.N.S. unit badly. Do doctors prescribe them easily? She was diagnosed with IC many years ago (she's 72). Is any kind of exam necessary first to prescribe it? Can her doctor just call in the prescription to her pharmacy? How will she know how to use it? Can I order it for her from this website ? We are desparately looking for answers. Any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated.

I contacted my urologist and he just wrote a prescription and had my physical therapist order it. Hope this helps!

    Thumbs up

Your doctor just needs to write a prescription for it. That is all. He should or the therapist tell you how to set it. I have one and it works wonderful for me. My pain specialist ordered it for me and set the settings for me. <img src="graemlins/bunny.gif" border="0" alt="[bunny]" />
