good news from my school!
so i was diagnosed not too long ago but IC's something i've struggled with my whole life. i just didn't know what was wrong with me.
i've been in beauty school for a little over a year now though and this past year has been the worst ever which is what finally made me go to the doctor. but in the past year i've missed a lot of school. i've gotten so behind and frustrated with our school i didn't think anyone would help me with my situation because there are already people in the admin that don't like me (namely the owner of the school haha) due to me having problems with my schedule.
anyway i went to talk to someone about it finally because i missed 5 days in a row because of my IC and i started explaining to the woman what i have. i said i thoughti had chronic bladder infections but it turns out i have another condition... and she said do you have IC?.. totally threw me off! i was like uh.. yea actually i do. she was like oh my husband has that.
anyway she is going to make it so my absent days aren't going to count against me! i was so worried all my absences would prevent me from getting a job i want. it was great news. and i'm really glad to have met someone in real life that knows i'm not crazy and what i have is real and willing to help me out!
it seems like whenever i think things aren't going to work out and i finally decide that it doesn't matter i'll get through it without help, the help finds me =]love.life.
