I knew it was coming but....
WAAAAAA!!! We are in a Winter Storm Watch - possible 5-10 inches, are they kidding??? Ugh.
If I wanted snow, it would turn like 60 degrees and be sunny...
Just had to get that off my chest... lolHugs,
Tracey

Tracey, that is a naughty four letter word you just said.
Man, I dread that first big storm. We have had a few flurries but nothing major. Thought we might have been snowed in for Halloween but we missed the storm.

Saw on the news that you are getting snowed on. They said won't be coming my way. Just thought I would let you know.

Hope you dont get THAT much snow tonight. We are supposed to get a rain or snow thing, depending on how cold it gets. Whatever the weather person says, we get the opposite ya know

We are under a Tornado Watch, tonight. I wonder if we are having the same storms, just in different parts of the country? Sometimes that happens. Sorry about the snow.

I guess I should stop complaining about wind and pouring rain!
By the way, I lost faith in the weatherman in 1969 when we had 39 inches of "flurries"!!!!!

LMAO! Ok, I am still laughing on 36" of flurries, that sounds SO familiar!!!!! We just squeaked by with rain, sleet and some snow, but it didn't turn as cold as expected, so all melted by morning. Where my husband works, about an hour+ away from us to the north, it was nasty. It took him 2+ hours to get home - could only go 25mph, and of course the 4wd wouldn't work! It's worked all year and the one night he has to have it, it decided it wouldn't engage. Ugh! Give me my manual lock-in hubs any day!!!!
Oh yeah Ms. Fish, I loved that stuff in school!!! To me it was always better to find out in the morning that school was cancelled - there was something nice about getting up at 5 am and finding out you could go back to sleep....aaaahhhhhh. The weather hasn't been like that in years though around here, last year was the first year we kept getting dumped on since I was a kid. Shoot, I can remember snow drifts that had drifted right up to the roof of the house! Those were fun!! LMAO!!!
Well, that was the first of the season, the milestone that winter is upon us, ugh. It was rather wicked though, Sharon must have sent us some of her storms as it was thundering like crazy! House rattling booms too!!!!Hugs,
Tracey

Oh my! Its still hot out here- (cold enough in the morning/late at night to turn on the heat--I get up around 4:30 and make sure its on) and the A/C on in the afternoon. We are suppose to get a cold front sometime this week. Temps are going to be in the 70's. (no rain, snow or anything). So I can't complain. We do get snow occassionally. Once every handful of years. Icy weather at least once a year, maybe twice.

Hey Mary,...I'll make a snowman for you if you'll get a tan for me?
We just did the "winter storm warning" thing too. I swear, our newscasters seem to like to play up the worst case scenario around here. Up to a foot of snow, stay inside, the sky is falling! I woke up, expectantly looked outside, and maybe there's half an inch on the ground!
No worries though, I'm sure that foot or more of snow will find us Tracey! It's just waiting to fall on the day when we absolutely have to drive somewhere!

Oh yeah Vicki! There's no hiding from that stuff, ugh. Cracks me up when you can't tell where the edge of my front deck/porch is as the snow is right up equal to it! That's a disaster just waiting to happen, lmao!!!!
Hugs,
Tracey

Vicky:
Its a deal! But don't send me the snowman- you can mail me a picture of him.
Actually, it does snow out here-- what every 4 years or so??? I think the last time it did was 2 or 3 years ago? but it wasn't enough to get excited about. It closed the whole city down and then some.
