ANYONE KNOW STATUS OF SANS??
Hi-
Posted a message a little while ago. Does anyone know the status of the SANS unit? When will it be selling again? Do we know what company is buying it out? Thanks for the INFO! My Dr. has said he will prescribe if can get info.

I see no responses here. That's a disappointment. I have been watching with interest and with hope the progress of the SANS ever since I read the first post about it. If sounded like such a promising treatment. I sure hope it will reappear again soon.

I've been using the SANS for about a year with very good success dependent on how well I get a placement of the needles. I do my own. I was set-up prior to the company problems. My understanding is they still hope the sale will go through within in the year. I am getting my kits directly from the rep. I have call into him so I'll try and get an update when I hear back.

BrendaD-
I am working on finding out stuff about SANS...Dianne has been a BIG help. I am also trying to get a doctor to agree to do procedure(other hurdle). Brenda..do you have a TENS? If so, try this and see if it helps...place a TENS electrode pad just behind your outside ankle bone (in TECHNICAL terms..the round one that sticks out on the side). Place the other electrode just above that one on your leg. Set the TENS up on a constant setting as high as you can comfortably do so. I get the "buzzing" feeling on the left side (it goes all the way up my leg). Sounds CRAZY I know, but if you have pain on one side or the other..it might help you. You may have to play around w/eletrode placement to get the right spot. You will know it when you find it!!
<<<<I thought I was trying something off the wall, until I went to the ICA website and they list the ankle as a location for TENS. >>>>
Its not SANS, but it does seem to help me some!! I am trying to get into a pain center here...three to four week wait...BUMMER!!
