One of my cats has a UTI
I had to take one of my cats to the vet yesterday. It turns out that she has a UTI
Poor thing!! Of all my 5 cats, she is the most timid, so you really don't notice her as much. Well, we noticed that blood was coming out of her.
She is now on antibiotics and is not very happy with me. It is a liquid form of antibiotic, but it sure doesn't make it any easier to put it in her mouth.
Her name is Sue Sue.

Yes it is hard to put any kind of medicine down a kitty. She struggles me and scratches. I have even wrapped her up in a towel and can only get a little down her. Even when my daughter helps it is hard. Poor thing. I say something to her and she runs the other way.

Very Smart With The Towel, They Actually Teach Us That Technique In Vet Tech School!!..Umm Other Than That, With Pills The Best Advice I Can Give Is A Animal Piller That You Can Buy At Petsmart Or Petco...Those Are Godsends!!!..Thank Goodness For Oral Suspensions Though!..Wishing Peaceful Peeing For Your Kitty!

*Also diagnosed with PFD, fibromyalgia, chronic myofascial pain, IBS, migraines, allergies/asthma, dermatographism
*Kept trying a million different treatments for all these things until I found what works, and I am doing okay these days with the help of a cocktail of medications and the InterStim, which was first placed in 2007. [I have had 2 revisions - one in 2010 when my battery died and had to be replaced, and one complete replacement (lead and generator) in 2012 after a fall on my stairs caused my lead to move.]
*Current meds include Atarax (50mg at night), Lyrica (150mg twice a day), Xanax (0.5mg at night and as needed), Zanaflex (4mg at night), hydrocodone (10/325, every 6 hours as needed), Advair, Nasonex, Singulair (10mg at night), oral contraceptives, home instills containing Elmiron and Marcaine (as often as I need to do them).
