well, my uro just called and said i have this and he's going to give me antibiotics.

how did i get this - - - especially if i haven't had intercourse????????

just wondering the possibilities of this stuff

I'm just wondering what antibiotics your doctor has given you and for how long? I was just diagnosed with strept d bladder infection last week.

There are many different ways you could pick up a strep. For one thing, every time we go to a restroom, we wash our hands after we go, but did anyone ever think it might be important to wash them both before and after?

And if you take a tub bath, you are sitting there in the water that also has the dirt from your hands and feet, as well as fecal matter. Since I switched to taking only showers I haven't had an infection.

You may never know the source of the infection, but hopefully the antibiotics will get rid of it for you.

All i ever take is tub baths - we haven't got a shower yet, but i have a really long tub spigot that i can use like a sponge bath/shower type of deal.

but, when i am having pain, i love to lay in the hot bath water. i try to keep it clean, however.

guess i'll have to do the spigot thing more consistently, however.

i think i am over the infection.
