Post good doctor in New Hamp. or Massachussetts?

I am looking for a doctor in Mass. or NH that is compassionate. I am hoping to be able to get heparin injections and am looking for a doctor who is open to suggestions. I have heard great things about these injections and really want to try them. If anyone can suggest a doc that would be great. Does anyone have Dr. Coukos of Boston? Hi Melanie,
I see Dr. Susan Pursell in Beverly (and Danvers) Mass.

Sorry, I don't know about Dr. Coukos. I know people really like Dr.Paul Church and there's Dr. Sant.

    Melanie,

I see Dr. Elizabeth Gormley at Dartmouth. She seems very good, but not always warm and fuzzy. She has always been open to my ideas and suggestions. I work in the medical field, and she always takes time to answer all of my questions, and I have many for her on each visit. I'm not sure where you live, but there are a few that I would NOT go back to, but do not want to share that here. Feel free to e-mail me at kisukinoko@aol.com and I will share those with you privately.

    Take good care of yourself,

    Doreen

    Hi there--

I didnt have an MD (a uro) in MA but while I was there I found an extremely commpassionate nurse and accupuncturist who treated me with accupuncture and chinease herbs....
I had a complete relief of symptoms for four months!! I forgot about my bladder!!
If you are interested, let me know, shes in Greenfield MA, which is close to VT.

Drs. Funk and Murata are in Keene, N.H. They're both good about listening to and talking with their patients, and understand IC well.

Dr. Emanuel Friedman at Metrowest Urology in Natick, MA. He's one of the best docs in MA! He's the one that removed my bladder in June.

I see Dr. Church and find him to be helpful and very open to my desires for treatment. He has a great PA too. He works out of Boston, both at the Faulkner in Roslindale and an office near the Beth Israel Deaconess.

    Best of luck!

I have heard wonderful things about a Dr. Sant in Boston, Massachusetts. He works out of New England Medical Center which is also a great hospital. Next year I will be switching over to Dr. Sant. Right now I still see a pediatric urologist because I am still in college. I heard Dr. Sant is wonderful and very knowledgeable on IC. He also has a book out on IC

I really like my urologist Dr Cohen, he is very warm and caring and he answers your questions and seems to know alot about IC. He wants to make sure my bladder is ok, He is doing a cysto and hydro on Feb7 and going to be streching my bladder and putting some meds up there to see if it eases the burning and the frequency. Dr. Cohen is in Norwood, MA at the Guild Building. If you want his number prviate email me and I will give it to you. auntiedebbief@aol.com.
