Could I get away with the occasional instillation?

    Just curious???

    What have others done here?

I am scheduled for another instill tomorrow (#2) do I dare say everything here is very quiet still.... no pain, no urgency. I forced my self to go potty before we left for errands today....

I figured I would wait until I needed it.

I dont know that I would wait until you needed it again. How many are you suppose to take. Maybe taking them all will put you into remission for alot longer than doing just one. Then again maybe one is all you need. I finished mine out, but then again mine did not work so go figure. Maybe someone else that has had success can answer you better.

Oh BTW :woohoo: on the success you are having now....Hopefully it will stay this way...

personally i find it most helpful to keep the installments going at all times that way my bladder doesn't have a chance to not get what is needed to keep things at bay. I am now in remission a second time since DX with IC back in 2000. the first time i was in remission for eighteen months until those nasty real UTI hit me and female problems. I had a hy. now my infection are some what behaving and now proudly can say i have remission again and it feels so good all thanks to heparin, marcaine rescue installments.

its always best to keep your bladder coated and if something is working don't stop it hon.
best wishes and i hope your bladder stays on the right path.

That is what I was thinking, better to keep the bladder coated, cause one probly wont cover it.
