Surgery scheduled for Feb. 20th
Alkong with my IC I also was diagnosed with stress incontinence and urge incontinence so I am getting a bladder sling can anybody tell me if they have had this procedure and how it has helped thanx

Gerd/Acid Reflux- 1980's
Endometrial Ablation- May 2005
Female issues, cysts, fibroids, adeno led to
Hysterectomy August 31 2005
Gallbladder removed Nov. 9, 2005
Cystoscopyw/Hydrodistention 12/05 & 07/06
Prolapsed bladder Dec. 16, 2005
Countless ultrasounds, MRI's, CTscans
Sub-urethral sling Feb.2006
Meds- Topomax- migraines
Cymbalta- depression
Asacol- IBS/Colitis
Percocet- Pain
Trazadone- sleep aid
Clonazapam- anxiety
Skelaxin-muscle relaxer
Prevacid- gerd/acid reflux
Elmiron - IC symptoms
Hydroxyzine- IC symptoms
Amitriptyline- IC symptoms
DMSO instills- weekly
Detrol & Vesicare

I have a sling and it wasn't bad at all. Mine was done vaginally and as I recall, I spent two nights in the hospital and had to avoid lifting for several weeks.

I had the Monarc Hammock (urethral sling) placed 2 years ago. It was a quick 20 minute procedure with very little post-op discomfort. Initial healing time was 2 weeks with full healing around 3 months.
