what are your favourite shows on tv?

Hi as you all know by now I live in australia, and I watch lots of american shows, and I have my fav Aussie ones too of course, but what do you like to watch?? I am going to mention some of mine, but please no giggling, because I am aware that we may be behind in some of the shows.
okay here we go, from the soapies I like ''the young and the restless'', and the bold and the beautiful'','' days'' is too weird for me, the storylines are way over the top.
Grey's anatomy, judging Amy, judge Judy( hate to be in her courtroom, it's like she is suffering from permanent pmt, but I do think she is very smart, I just don't like to be yelled at like she does.
The ghost whisperer, wifeswap usa, Medium,Gilmore girls,One tree hill, Veronica Mars, Dr Phil, Oprah, ncis, Desperate housewives, Law and order svu, there is more but cannot think of any at this stage, I also loved Frasier, and everybody loves raymond, but those shows are finished now, and we just see repeats.
    So what do you like??

Hi Patricia, I forgot to mention Las Vegas, I love that show too, I really like James Caan, I think at his age he is still a very sexy man.
I used to watch General hospital, but they took that off years ago, sad because I really liked it.

Yeah he does look very nice for an older man. But I like Josh Dumal also. I used to watch him on All my Children when he played Leo. General Hospital is good. I had got to where I was not watching it, but I got back into full force. Even my youngest son likes they show. He like the shoot up scenes. I hate that they took it off down there.

I must be totally nuts, but I like to watch Judge Judy. I really go nuts trying to watch shows with commercials so I tend to watch public broadcasting or the movie channels.

My fave show is "House, MD." It's on Tuesdays here at 9pm; don't know if you get that one in Australia. It's about a team of doctors who try and figure out weird medical cases -- kind of a cross between ER and NCIS. The main character, Dr. Greg House, is this antisocial kind of weirdo, but he's kinda sexy because he reminds me of someone in my past who I found very sexy PLUS, it has Robert Sean Leonard in it -- he was in the movie "Dead Poets Society" when he was 19, as Neill, the guy who ended up committing suicide, and he's been in others, like the movie version of John Grisham's "The Painted House." I think he's sooooooo hot *blush* *giggle* LOL...

I don't watch much tv at all. A lot of news, but other than that "House" is the only show I watch on a regular basis. I love it too, Jen!

Jen, I cannot believe I forgot to mention ''House'' It's one of my favorite shows, and I think he is sexy too.
My daughter never misses an episode, she is hooked on House, she told me that he is English, not American, I don't know if that's true, but if it is, he sure does a good job with the American accent.
Diana, so you got the hots for Diane Sawyer, mmm interesting,LOL
We also get the american ''today show'' ( we got an Australian today show'') and we also get Good morning America, this morning they were discussing this new book just released, and the word ''redneck'' came up, what exactly is that???

I used to watch the soaps Y & R and Days religiously. I would tape it if I wasn't home but I don't anymore. Got out of the habit when I was working and couls never have the time to catch up.

My favourites now are definately "house" Couldn't you just eat him! I remember seeing him in an English series "Black Adder" with Rohan Atkinson (Mr Bean) very very funny.
And Jesse Spencer(an Aussie) isn't too bad on the old optics either.
Hate to miss, ER, Survivor - Go Steph!, Ghost Whisperer which has only just started here and Medium. Loved Frasier
Aussie shows - Kath and Kim ,Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and The Glass House.

Redneck is referred to a person (usually white southerners) who has a conservative and often bigoted attitude. Whilte its technically not a nice term its well tolerated and not taken to heart by most people.
Oh, and yeah, I do have the hots for Diane Sawyer..hahaha..there arent too many people pushing 60 who look that good!..hahahaha...and for the record-I'm not gay..hahahahahaha, "not that theres anything wrong with that".

No Diana, I didn't think you were gay, I knew you were kidding, and no there is nothing wrong with it if you were, live and let live I reckon, I don't look at people as to what they are, but who they are. thanks for explaining the redneck thing Diana.
Rosalie so ''house'' is english, my daughter was right then, Kath and Kim are on my list too, look at moi, look at moi, haha, I've got a dvd of them, it was a giveaway with the courier mail, the Kath and Kim code, it's so funny, did you see the episode with Kylie Minoque in it, she plays kim's daughter.
I also like Mr.Bean, got a whole tape full of him., Blue Heelers is another favorite, so is Home and away, and now we got Headlands starting to get hooked on that. Oh I must get a life
