no heat AGAIN
ok got up with no heat again yesterday morning...... thought it was fixed
but apparently it wasn't.... it worked when it wanted to yeaterday..... and the repair man came out this morning.
but... no heat still.. he kept fiddling with it and shutting it off and on to get it to do what I was saying... It would light when it wanted to other wise blow cold air.. after flipping the switch about 5 times it wouldn'r light at all....
so heres whats wrong. the gas valve is bad..... and he said I had to wait till Monday
I asked him what would happen if this valve started to leak, or worse yet, when the furnace kicked in and the valve released to much gas and blew up....
well anywho in the meantime.. here I sit with my furncae shut off and no heat.
He took the part with him to see if he could find one...

alrighty its fixed... (again) hopefully with any luck it is not going to break down any more...... I am shocked it did seeing it is only 8 years old..
I am very glad I pay monthly for the furnace plan thru my gas company, if I didn't this weekend would have costed me 980.00 I didn't have for both parts (ignighter switch and the internal gas valve) and service call & labor...
for the furnace plan...

What are you doing to frighten that poor furnace??? Do you think it's a bladder/furnace conspiracy???
Hope you're now as snug as a bug in a rug!

omg MO... it is...
I was using that for heat threapy instead of my heating pad, because the heat kicks of and on.. What was I thinking
won't try that one any more.. a heating pad is much cheaper to replace

Oh yes, Mo is a lifesaver in those kinds of matters!
She helped me to see that climbing into the the clothes dryer for bladder annoyances was just not a wise saftey choice....LMAO!!!! (although the fluff cycle was great to add body to my hair!)
Thank goodness she got to me before I was about to use the clothes iron!!! (At least I would have had a wrinkle-free flat abdomen....
)

top 5 things that you should of learned already and shoud not attempt to try.
1) a lawnmower and weedwacker dose not do good hair cuts.....
2) a vaccuum is only for in door use, the leaves get stuck in the beaterbar
3) do not wear roller skates when walking a dog bigger then you.
4) don't wear roller skates down a cat walk, I have proven this it very dangerous.
5) rearwheel drive cars are very bad in the snow'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

Ooh, I learnt something once... I know I did... it's on the tip of my tongue... no it isn't, that's my nose, oh well, I'm sure it'll come to me eventually...after I've slammed my head repeatedly in the car door...

Lessons I've learned...
Oh yes, I think the most important lessons I have learned:
Even though you think one more shot of Hot Damn won't hurt you...DON'T drink it, as a matter of fact - if you are even thinking this way you should have stopped after the 3rd one....
'79 Trans Am's are terrible in the snow (the lesson Tig pointed out I learned at 16), and if you are in your car and your friends are in another, and you stop by yet one more friend's house and they are not there and you all decide to leave and go back to your place -- should you get stuck in the snow for an hour or more, they will be comfy and cozy sitting at your place waiting for you to show up.....
Another one learned at a young age: When parked on the side of a road you are NOT familiar with, in the dark, at a huge function (following the AuSable River Canoe Marathon) and you have to pee....DO NOT just assume you can scoot behind the vehicle...they put HUGE ditches in the funniest places, and me with out my repelling gear.....
Do not wear really long cool skirts in front of the guy's choral groups and sit on a step on the floor....One finds herself with her heels on her own skirt and tries to stand up --repeatedly -- and can't figure out why she keeps falling back down on her butt...while the cute guys snicker....and you and your choir teacher are laughing and trying to get you up....
Do not wear moccasins without soles when you must pee in the woods and in the dark...I think no explanation is needed here....
Do not assume you are in a "safe" spot when needing to pee in the woods in the dark...picker bushes, like ditches, end up in the funniest places.
Do not go running across paved parking lots in hard smooth-soled shoes...(cute pair of flats) to your friend's car in front of the Cute Guy - your forever crush - who's drag race you are on your way to watch...you WILL slip and fall on your butt and your shoe will amazingly fly a really long distance underneath your friends car... and Cute Guy will nervously ask you if you are all right.....
Hmmm, I am sure there are more, but my ego can't bear to remember them at this time...Hugs,
Tracey
