Thumbs down Seen "exorcism of emilyrose"

I watched this movie last night and I wasn't rattled by it one time... The first Jaws makes you jump more then this movie....

    What is it about:
A young 19 year old girl suppsodely possesed by demons.. could it of happended? its possible... anything is actually possible.

    How is the movie staged:
poorly.... it is more of a docoumentry. The movie is based out of a court room trial, when they talk about Emilyrose, the show clips of what might have happened. They couldn't prove or disprove if she was physosematic and epiletic or if she was possesed.

do I think you would like it..
I guess that would be on your tastes in movies. I thought I would like it,
but, the comercials were better then the movie.. personally I thought it was badly produced. I wouldn't tell anyone to go see it, it wasn't worth the money spent.

so personally if you want to watch a good scary movie, bypass this one!

I chose to not see the movie, I don't know much about the background of the true story, but think it's hogwash-- she probably had some mental disorders that did not get diagnosed...

yea it was really a waste of time and money... I thought it would be a scary movie. I do believe she was mentally ill.

I can't see movies based on anything to do with demonic anything. I am a wimp, and then can't sleep for days. The last movie I saw with this kind of theme was the Exorcist and it freaked me out.

babs, this movie was nothing like the Exorcist, it didn't even come remotly close to being scary, or demonic based. It was just stupid. After I watched the Exorcist I couldn't sleep for days either.. ((hugs))

its based on a court room trial, where the priest is on trial.. they do show clips of what could have happened, like if someone was in a sezior (sp??) or actually mentally ill ... they showed things like her screaming and counting in different languages... they showed a very few (like 2 or 3 times) scary stuff. but not enough to make me be afraid after it was over.

I'll wait till it comes out on HBO or Showtime then. No reason to sit in a movie theater unless it is worth the sore bladder from needing to pee and the 10 bucks it costs to get into movies out here. I really want to see Walk the Line.

I have not seen this one. We did buy the Skelton Key last night. Anyone seen it. I really thought it was a great movie. You really wonder what is going on till the very end of the movie. I had to go to a bunch of different stores to find cuz it was sold out every where....

The ending is def. not what you are expecting. Usually we can figure out what is going on by the end, but not with this one.
