Man people are so judgemental
Some of you may have read my previous post about my friend " Very important need advice it concerns my friend"
http://www.ic-network.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19461
Anyway, I emailed this guy that suppose to be a minister. I told him about my friend asking for advice. well here is what he wrote back to me...
sorry but it is called she is whore....
please don't send me any more stuff like this.. i am not into whores problems.. this is for praying for those that need help.. she needs to get saved untill she does she will think with her crotch. not her head... the penality of her actions will have to be carried by her not you... God bless you ..
I think he's being judgemental. I guess he think he's god or something. He should not down people like that. .Angela aka sleepyangel30

Omigosh. Is he the pastor where you go to church? I hope that's not the message he's preaching.
I think a better quote would be, "There, but for the Grace of God, go I," or, "Inasmuch as ye have done unto one of these, the least of my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
Sending gentle hugs,

OMG.... I think I would send this email to his superior.. I do not go to church but I do know if that came out of a mouth of a minister/pastor, then he probably find another calling because this surely isn't it. He was more then judgemental, he was, out right rude, cruel, and disrespectal to say that to you about your friend..
I am sorry he dose not come close to what I would call a church going main let alone a pastor...

I find it appalling that he calls himself a minister -- that is not a Christ-like response at all! (Especially if we are to consider Christ's compassion, mercy and love for Mary Magdalene as told in the Gospels.) How in the world does this man think your friend is going to be "saved" if he doesn't pray for her or otherwise care about her problems? Your friend needs help from a supportive -- not judgmental -- group of people, whether those are friends, family, clergy or perhaps counselors. Not only is she dealing with her own physical drives (which she feels she cannot control) she is also dealing with the changes in her husband now that he is back from combat. These are difficult things for anyone to navigate, but without support and guidance, she won't be able to find her way towards an appropriate resolution.
I'm sorry you received that response. This "minister" is not ministering the Word of God, nor the compassion and mercy of Christ. I don't personally know of anyone in the clergy (my church or local ecumenical community) who would treat someone in such an abhorrent way.

I find what he said very offensive. I do not think because of this one time she should be classified as that. It might be she has an obsession with sex and for that she needs help not put downs. For a minister to be so judgemental is extremily disappointing for me. They are to be there for people and help them. I would hate to know he was my preacher. I think you are great worring about your friend as you are doing. I am so sorry.

That's definitely not the way Jesus would have responded, for he came for us sinners.

I really got to thinking about this last night, and was really ticked off .... For him to say he is a minister, he is saying he speaks for god... what kind of god speaks to you like that.. What dose he think of Mary Magdlin (I know I spelled her name wrong).
Despite the fact I don't go to church, and my beliefs have been tarnished, I know what he said was just wrong... I went to church as a child up until jr high... but, I do still have something deep down inside left in me to know that he was way out of line.

I agree with Brat, although I have been turned off by organized religion, and have a lot of my own views, the way he responded is way out of line. Sounds more like one of those fly-by-night type pastors. What ever happened to a loving and kind God? And I think if he's going to give advice from the religous aspect, it would be helpful, not harsh name-calling! Just my opinion, lol.

Tracey

Sounds to me like he is some nut job out there in cyberspace. Stay away from him, and be cautious. I'm sure he is not a preacher at all. He will most definitely have to pay for what he is doing someday.
