    Back Pain and IC

I was just reading a post here on back problems and how they may relate/ have started IC in many of us...

I am AMAZED by this and inspired ... all of my problems started 1 month ago after I re-injured a herniated disc in my lower back... I've had back problems for years and I am wondering, now, if my bladder issues may have something to do with my back problems. If this IS the guess, there must be other ways of making it better than filling our bodies with all of these pills, right?

If you feel back problems are contributing to your problem, my suggestion would be to see a neurologist and have testing done to either confirm or rule it out.

    Sending healing thoughts,

    Hi,

I have had back problems for a long time, mostly since I tried to move a 350 lb woman in a hospital bed with no help! After that I was diagnosed with some disc degeneration which is probably not related to that incident (what I was told, I think it could be related)...my point is that this was years and years before I had any symptoms of IC.

When I have a major IC flare my back definately hurts more then it usually does, but I think Donna is right. It wouldnt hurt to have an exam by a neurologist and see if perhaps a nerve is malfunctioning, etc.

I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

    Take care, Sandy
