I am feeling better but I'm not cured.

My Uti/Kidney Infection must be clearing up. My back pain is gone and my bladder pain/burning has subsided but my frequency is still a major problem. I finally went back to work yesterday and struggled to get things done because I was still peeing every 30 minutes or so. Today was a little better until I started on my way home. I had to stop to pee 3 times the last time I felt like my bladder was going to explode but as usual very little urine came out. I am going to call my uro tomorrow and ask for some Ditropan to see if that will help the frequecny. It feel like I am begining to become a walking pharmacy with all the meds I am taking for my poor diseased bladder. My list of meds continues to grow and grow. I am taking Elmiron in the morning and Hydroxyzine at night along with Elavil before bed. Prelief before meals. I have been taking Pyridium Plus at least once a day and the occasional Vicoden when all else fails. I hate taking so much medicene. I sure wish I could function without having to do all this. It guess I will be battling this disease the rest of my life. I sure wish they could find a cure. I just want to get my life back.

Good luck finding your cure. Don't give up! Glad you are feeling somewhat better....it is unfortunate how much some of us have to take before we feel better.

I'm glad you are a little better at least, and I hope that you get the right mix of meds or that your symptoms improve somehow, to where you feel like you have your life back.

    Blessings, Lori

I hope things work for you. My uro told me recently that sometimes we add in meds to get under control and then can eventually take some of them back off...so you never know. I hope you find the cocktail that works for you-
