How much H2O do you drink?
Now that I have made the complete switch to H20 (90% of the time), abondoned Starbucks and trying to do the whole diet thing (it is so hard, I finally can empathize with diabetics), I am just wondering how much H20 should I be drinking per day?
I usually do something like a couple of big Evian bottles but overall I don't think it adds up to the gallon per day that some recommend. I also dilute kids juices (those that don't contain as much vitamin C) with water, because H20 itself tastes horrible to me. Am I on the right track at least?
What do you do?

Try different waters, you may find one you like better...I am serious about my water habit!
I usually have a bottle going all day....so I must refresh on average 6-8 times a day. I do still drink coffee (I know....sshhhhh) but when it is not frigid weather I up my water intake....actually the more I drink, the beter my bladder...though for anyone starting out, be patient and give your body a chance to adjust (and it will for most of us) to increasing fluids by way of water.

I drink about six to eight cups of water a day. I don't think I could handle a gallon; I'd spend the entire day in the bathroom.

I try and drink about 2 litres of water a day. I find that about the right amount to keep my bladder comfortable (well as much as it can be!!!)

I only drink about 36 ounces right now, but it is all I drink and I am still getting used to the water thing. I only drink bottled water and I can tell it helps me. I drink camomile tea sometimes with honey when I am out having coffee with someone, i haven't tried the low acid coffees yet, not quite there yet...but hopefully sometime soon I can try it.
I think most people learn you have to play with it...see how much makes you feel better and how much sends you rushing to the potty....
I am blessed to have an Indiana Pouch now....I am glad I did it even though it has been a long road to recovery!

I drink a lot of water - only bottled water if possible - without any minerals so I don't flare. The more water I drink the better. I'm still finding my preferred brand of water. I used to drink some water I would get from Sam's Club, but they quit carrying it. I do pretty good with Mejier brand water and not too bad with Ice Mountain - yet I'm not so sure about that one.
So, in answer to your question - I drink anywhere from 5-10 16 ounce bottles a day - I feel better the more I drink. When I don't drink enough, I get that feeling that I've got to go, but nothing comes out.
Okay, so that was probably too much information.
Take Care!
