Plaque on bladder floor per Cysto
So Uro put me on a Medrol Dospak and Macrobid. Felt so much better while on the Medrol. He said I don't have IC but I have something that can cause IC. He also found left side Congenital Ureterocele.
About two days after ending the Medrol Dospak, the lower abdominal discomfort returned. I am still taking Macrobid.
Have any of you had "plaque" on bladder floor? What was done to help? Did it go away? Pain?

this might be something that can be treated with the doxycycline regimen. go to the antibiotic circle to see. i used doxycycline for a month (dh too) and have been in remission since september. had a slight flare last month, but since going on birth control pills, i feel human again. the july 2004 journal of urology has a good article on it. they showed pics of bladders with leukoplakia before and after the treatment. it apparently worked for about 70% of the women who tried it. and it seems to have worked for me even though i was dx with interstitial cystitis.
i hope you find something that helps you.
