My husband has it and had no symptoms.... One day he was mowing and he passed out and busted his head open on the paver walkway and was uncounsious/incoherrant. thats when we found out....

i have graves. my symptoms were very fast heart rate (about 140 at rest) for several months, hair loss, tremors, sweating, migraines, bulging eyes, severe weight loss (20 pounds in 6 weeks), dry skin, dry and brittle hair, irritability, infertility, huge appetite, short of breath.
we never put it all together until i had a thyroid storm. my heartrate shot up over 200 one morning, and dh took me to the ER.
treated with 2 rounds of radioactive iodine to make it hypo, and i feel much better. hair is still thin, still infertile, but at least i feel healthy again.holly 35

oh, yeah. i had a goiter too. sorry, i forgot that. i still have trouble wearing turtlenecks and some necklaces. the goiter and the bulging eyes went away pretty quickly once my thyroid was fixed.
good luck. it took 2 doses and 2 years to get the darn thing hypo. but it still sometimes freaks out and gets all hyper again. last time it happened was 2002 (RAI was in 99). so i get bloodwork pretty regularly.
