My two calicos help me so much, even when frequency is every 5 or 10 minutes, they know something is up and come and cuddle...or we play sleigh, pull them on an old blanket.

I know how you feel, my boys do the same thing. I would love to see a picture of your furbabies:) I have put pictures of all my fur babies in the pets section of the forum. I don't know where I would be if I didn't have all of mine loving on me when I feel bad.

My kitty Paddington does the same thing... that's him in my arms in the avatar to the left. He was about 8 months old in that picture; now he's just over a year and weighs somewhere between 18 and 20 lbs, but he's really just a big kitten. He loves to play, and he loves to take naps with me... and sometimes he acts as my big furry heating pad. He lays across my belly and keeps my bladder warm. :)

i have four babies. one has somatitis. inflammation and ulcers of the mouth and throat. the vet told me to give her coq10 and bovine lactoferrin, so i take it too. me and punkin are peas in a pod, the same!

When I am really sick, my cat will "hug" my arm with her paws & curl up purring. My first DMSO treatment she wouldn't leave me, even followed me into the bathroom every 5 minutes, waited patiently, then curled up right next to me on the sofa. I wondered if she liked the garlic smell, but she never did it again, so I think she just knew I was sick & upset...
My cat does the same things, wherever I am he goes, and I have a cat tree with a bed on the top of it, next to my computer, and there he comes and stays with me, or either laying beside me. Animals really do sense when we need comfort, and are not feeling good. They are the greatest, there is nothing like a warm furry body purring away and next to you when those bad days hit, Iris. :cat: :flower:

I couldn't have said it better myself. That statement is so true. Even all three of my Siberian Huskies know when I am not feeling well and are extra gentle with me. Those babies are some hyper dogs too:)

This thread makes me miss my 'babies'...:(..my dog Coco (a black pomeranian) would always snuggle up next to my tummy when I was in bed and was like a shadow when I was up; she couldn't bear being separated from me. I have missed her (and her sister Puff) soooo much since we left Arizona without them; I really wish there was a way to have them here with us. Oh well, I guess I must content myself with seeing them when I go back to visit; at least they are with my mom.

My cats follow me to the bathroom. You'd think with all that exercise they wouldn't be so fat! :lmao:
They do know when I don't feel good.
