Hello....

Well, today was my first day. I was groggy this morning from the Elavil, but only got up twice last night. So, I rather be groggy.

I'm feeling very tired, my muscles hurt, is this normal? I've been feeling this way for a while. I also have the IC Belly! I've had it for a while but I've always blamed it on periods when it was around that time then the other times I just decided that I had a gut and needed to do something about it. I've noticed that it goes up and down though even after just a few hours, does anyone else have this type of flucuation?

I did also go by the Prelief, I know have one bottle at work and another at home and I'll probably get one for my car! :)

I'm always interested in hearing other peoples stories, please keep writing.

The elavil will make you groggy for a bit in the morning, at least it does me. It's kinda good for me (or my hubby, not sure) because I am a little more out of it than normal. Normally I am a huge grouch but since I've been on elavil I am too grogy to be mean! :lmao: I had MAJOR belly flunctuations until recently. I think that, for me, it is a combination of my BC pills and elmiron. I am on the Seasonale BC so I don't have the estrogen going up and down all the time anymore. I still had to invest in elastic waisted skirts because my belly doesn't know it's a size too big! Hope this helps you a little.

The morning grogginess goes away after awhile. I take it around 8 or 9pm & get up around 6am...

When I started the Elavil I too was a little groggy in the morning. However, I think your body gets used to it and the grogginess goes away.

Indiana, I think when first got diagnosed and started the IC meds I had musscle pain too.....it has  Like you I keep the prelief with me everywhere...I have also made a flare kit that goes with me everywhere! I hope your body gets used to the meds fast and you get a lot of relief from them!
