imipramine and pregnancy

My dh and I plan on starting to try in December. (this would be # 2 for us). Well I spoke to my OB and he said he would like me off atleast one month before getting pregnant. Than I call my urologist, and he says u can take it during pregnancy (I know this can't be so) He also said I don't have to wean off, I can just stop. No way.

so here are my questions.

How do you wean off of imipramine? I am on 35 mg. Has anyone taken this during pregnancy? If you have been on this type of Anti depressent, how quick do your symptoms return?

Any help would be so appreciated.
