Watching the news reports over the past few days about these poor Russian school children has been so heart wrenching. I'm not sure if everyone is aware of what is going on, so here is a link to follow.

I just cried and cried today. Memories of 9/11 came flooding back because I couldn't get the same question out of my head; What is our world coming to?!!
Please say a little prayer for these poor families.

I saw pictures of the chaos after the government military went in to get rid of the terrorists. It BROKE MY HEART to see all the sweet little children half naked and covered with blood. Abusing chidren and using them as political pawns is the most DISGUSTING thing ANY human being can do. It's times like these when the boundaries of my country fall away and I feel one with the humanity of this world. I feel such heartache for the victims of this heinous crime. We don't tolerate terror in our country, and we shouldn't tolerate it anywhere else on earth either. I pray the Russian government retaliates accordingly and captures any terrorists who may have been involved in this plot who may not have been at the scene during the showdown. Those people need to receive there just desserts for what they did to those beautiful, innocent children. Grrrrrrrr . . .

Events like this serve to remind all of us that there truly is unspeakable evil in the world. The frightened and traumatized faces of those innocent children will stay with me for a long long time. My prayers and thoughts are with all of them and their families as well as the Russian people.
Truly heartbreaking......

I have been listening, and watching the news on this as much I can handle. I really don't like it when the news shows pictures of dead people and or children. I have to close my eyes. It is very sad and I pray for the children and the parents of the children who were hurt, or lost in gunfire today. It shouldn't have happened in the first place. It is not fair to use innocent children in adult disagreements.

Today I was reading "The Globe and Mail", a newspaper from Toronto and on the fron page was a picture of Russian Militia Fighter who was carrying in his arms a baby who had just been released by the hostage takers. He carried that baby like it was the most precious cargo in the world to him. It touched my heart.

May angels watch over the children of Russia.
