Another question

Hi everyone,
I have another question. I found out in May that I have IC. I was wondering if anyone else has problems sleeping on their back and stomach? I went for a massage and thought I would feel so much better but my IC hurt worse. Then, lately I've notice every time I try to sleep on my back or stomach I wake up in pain.

Yes, I had that problem for awhile.

Until I found some treatments that worked, I could only sleep a 10-15 minutes at a time, sitting up. Eventually, I could sleep on my side with a pillow between my knees.

Now that I've got a pretty good treatment plan going, I usually go to sleep on my side, but wake up on stomach or back with no pain.

Yep...in the beginning, I could only sleep on my left side with my right leg bent and a pillow under my right arm. My bladder was so tender that any pressure on it would send my through the roof. Once I found the right treatments for me, I have been able to sleep on my back, stomach, etc. just like the good old days before IC reared it's ugly head. :)

The only way i can sleep is if i lay on my back. When i lay on either my sides or on my stomach i am in great pain.

Agreed ...for me only right side usually ...endo pain throughout the left side.....but for me ...bladder can be very tender and full night no way!
