IVP test

Can someone direct me to any information on this site about this test. I'm having it done on Monday the 29th. Sorry for the short notice; I recently just found this site.

I have a question about the prep the day before; the fasting and laxatives. The last time I took this much laxative, I was up all night long pooping just water. I just couldn't shut down, even though everything was out of me. It is necessary to take all the prep laxatives? I weight 128 lbs. and it seems they give the same amount to everyone. There is a bottle of stuff to drink, 4 yellow-orange pills and a supository.(sp?) I only eat breakfast and a turkey sandwich for lunch and the rest liguids the day before.

The prep is the toughest part of the IVP. However, if there is any fecal matter at all in your system, the doctor may not be able to adequately read the IVP.

I had that done was allergic to the dye, I told the nurse i was going to be ill and she told me I wasn't :( well she found out the hard way I was right eek so if you do feel sick tell them right away.. I hope this site helps you.
