how does oxytrol work for bladder contractions? i'm taking elmiron also. is it a problem to take both together?

the oxytrol patch when i was using it helped me as far as cutting down my trips to the rest room and helped me hold my pee longer.
have you checked out the oxytrol web site? I haven't visit it in a long time but found it useful as far as information goes and there was a place where you could ask questions and find your answers there too, but that was a year ago i don't know what it looks like now.
There should be a website on your box.
I had to stop using the Oxytrol patch because of awful headaches but it was great as far as helping me the other way.

The Oxytrol patch is the same medicine as Ditropan... it's just in a patch form. It's an anticholinergic medication, which means it acts to slow down the nerve impulses going to smooth muscles in your body, including the bladder. This helps stop aberrant contractions in the bladder. However, it can also cause dry mouth, constipation, etc.
