well i had my uterine biopsy done yesterday and well im here to tell you about it today. :) it sucked ouch. at first i was like ok this isnt so bad and then he says well i havent done anything yet oh great i thought and then i realized what he meant dang. anyways i felt no so good lastnight so i went home and just rested, and today i feel the same. cramping a lot, tummy is swollen like a really bad period, i wont know my result for about a week.

But the weird thing is lately my bladder has been better not really the pain so much but the frequency and urgency has let up a lot. i never had those sx as much until they did the cath its like they irritated something and now its calming down. Im just praying that it will stay this way for awhile ive been sleep so much better and that makes a huge dif.

I had a ? also for anyone thats had this. I mentioned it to my doc yesterday but he didnt have an answer. You know how during your period you can what they call sluff off cells or skin well i notice that sometimes not to often but no always at period time either that ill go to the bathroom and ill see like a small skin like something in the toilet its weird? thanks hopeful

We had a post going awhile ago about "whale snot." :yikes: It kinda looks like a string of clear, odorless snotlike thingy? Is that close to what you are seeing?

I don't get the "whale snot", but I do sometimes get the little pieces or strings of tissue????? or whatever on the toilet tissue.

Occasionally I see small chunks of white tissue in my urine, like someone shredded a Kleenex into small pieces. Either that, or I see something that looks like an "oil slick" on my urine in the toilet... kind of shiny and shimmery. I have had it looked at under a microscope and/or cultured when both of these things happen, and it is usually just "bladder epithelium" (bladder cells). It is normal to slough off the inside of the bladder a little bit... and I tend to think if you've got IC it may be accelerated a little bit. Also, ICers tend to pay more attention to what their pee looks/smells/feels like than other people, so you may just notice it more now :)

To be sure, though, if I were you I'd have some urine checked at the doc's... it might be gross for you, but try to fish the tissue out of the toilet with a cup and bring it to the doctor's. That way they can see exactly what you mean and give you an accurate opinion.
