Every time I see articles like this I get tears in my eyes. Publications about IC are in the mainstream news now. In 1992 I got referred to articles on mental health.

this is a great article.
but this statement: "for the most part, people with IC are on disability because of their symptoms".. is this really true??? are MOST icers on disability? if so, it's totally disheartening. :(

I thought it was an excellent article as well, except for that one statement - "for the most part, people with IC are on disability because of their symptoms". It's too bad it says 'for the most part'. I believe that part should have been left out. Many IC patents are on disability, but most of us- are not.
