 Hi everyone. I found this site, registered and posted for the first time last night. I am so very, very glad to have found you! :lmao: At last, a place where I can go and "vent" and ask some questions that perhaps others, who don't understand, think are absolutely absurd. It will also give me a place to ask questions so that I don't drive my dear physician husband completely crazy with questions. Bless his heart, he goes to the clilnic all day and then has to come home to a sick wife! He has been wonderful through all of my sicknesses (Irritable Bowel Syndrome since High School, Toxemia with the birth of our second child 17 years ago, Chronic Candidiasis, Vulvodynia, Endometriosis with a subsequent hysterectomy due to that and the Candidiasis, Gastrointestinal Reflux, Fibromyalgia, surgery on both legs below the knee and presently two years later, constant pain and swelling in the knees and now Interstitial Cystitis.) Tests are being run now to rule out other things and it looks as though a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Dysfunction Syndrome if just around the corner. Guess my body's going down the toilet! :toilet:

I work 3-5 days a week at a local quilt shop and I truly love my job! But, l am finding it more difficult to go to work. It seems I am in constant pain from one or more of the ailments listed above and for the past few months, it seems that all I can do is go to work, come in and prepare a meal for my family (My dear husband, James, 20, Micah, 17, two West Highland White Terriers, Mckenzie and Katie Bea and a Poodle, Polly.) and hit the bed. I am so, so tired.

The past few days I have experienced a debilitating soreness in the bottom of my tummy around the bladder area. I take UTA for pain, and it seems to help when I have twinges, but it hasn't helped this. The soreness seems worse with movement; almost a "jarring" pain and if I press on my tummy, it is very sore. I finally got in a hot tub and sat last night and then got on the bed with a heating pad. I am not sure if either of those things helped more than my feelings. I am totally worm out again this morning and am still sore down there. :yikes:

Does anyone else experience the "soreness" I am describing? I hope it's the IC and not something to do with my intestines.

Thanks for "listening" :grouphug:

It could be your IC, but I do suggest you check it out with your doctor.

Sending gentle hugs,

I have simular pains to what you describe as well. I have psoraitis arthritis, fibro, GURD, IC, PMS, Dysmorphia, Collitis, Vulvadynia (unknown cause most likely out of control hormonal imbalance), TMJ, migraines, psoriaisis, well I can't remember it all right now anyways just to say I know what you're going through. It is hard with so much going on all at once. I don't know how different Collitis is from IBS but I get really bad pains there because of it. I thought it was IBS but I was wrong. My doctor says that sometimes the symptoms of fibro and Chronic Fatigue syndrome overlap eachother beacuse I have symptoms of both. I hope you will feel better soon. Take one day at a time. Try not to get too discouraged just do what little you can. I take sleeping pills at night and still I feel like I haven't slept a wink. I hope you find something that helps you. Take care - Chris :)

Thanks so much for your note, Chris. :flower: My goodness, you have as many ailments as I! :yikes: I am sure I failed to list some of mine, too. They all just seem to overlap. :dizzy: My tiredness got some better there for a few days, but I am worn out again tonight as I awoke around 4:00 this morning with a terrible headache. I just thank God  that things aren't much worse with me. At least I can still function most of the time. It sure is great to have a place where we can go and vent where people understand isn't it? Thanks again for your note. You take care of yourself!
Hugs,

You are so welcome we all need to stick together ya know? I hate that we hurt like we do and I am always happy when I can help in even the smallest way possible. I am grateful for all the support I've found here and want to give it back too. Take care I hope we all feel better sooner rather than later. Just know you aren't alone and there are people who care to know how you are really doing. It is so contridictive when people say how are you doing and don't really care to know. Well I do care and hope that things will be looking up for you soon. We have to take it on day at a time! - Chris
