drink drink drink lots and lots of water to wash that out.

try one at a time.
I think your best shot will be one tsp of baking soda to an eight oz glass of water. that should help. if not then try your rolaids (tums are best) and if you have any prelief try that also if the others don't work.
try one wait about an hour to try something diff. I don't think it would hurt to try them all but to be on the safe side i do them an hour apart when needed.
sending you hugs and prayers
Rhonda.

You are not the only one. I ate pizza last night. What could I have been thinking! It was one of those times when my kids had friends over and they were all having pizza and I was starved and didn't want to fix something just for myself. It was so stupid I was laughing at myself in between spasms. Baking soda, TUMS, Prelief, cold compress, a pain pill and a book on tape finally calmed me down.

Here's hoping you have quick relief and a good night's sleep!

If you take the antacids and drink lots of water, hopefully you'll get over the burning fairly quickly. And don't beat up on yourself too bad --- we all do it occasionally.

Gentle hugs,
Donna

For me, Alka Seltzer works even better than baking soda, and there's something in Alka Seltzer Gold that's faster still. I saw it recommended in an IC book long ago, and I keep it in my desk/purse/medicine cabinet all the time now. Hope the Elmiron kick in for you eventually. They do take some time, but I can eat almost anything now. Hang in there!

Yup, we have ALL done it. I think it's pretty normal to want to experiment a little bit when we've been feeling good. then the pain is a reminder. :(

Dear Cathada - I use Alka Seltzer Gold because it contains no aspirin. I think it's the only version that doesn't.
