a former college roommate has IC too

I just found out this weekend that a former college roommate also has IC. She's been dealing with pelvic pain for a while, but it was assumed that her past pregnancies were the caused of her difficulties. While I was sad to hear of her diagnosis, it was comforting for us to know that we could relate our IC with someone from our pre-IC days.

I'm just grateful that I could direct her to the patient handbook and the message boards for more information and support. Thank you all for the support and advice you've given me. I only hope that I can do the same for her.

i have two friends that has IC. one is a neighbor of mine and another is an old childhood friend.
I told them both they had alot of systom of ic and once they where checked my childhood friend had very mild ic and my neighbor has chornic IC.
its nice to have someone to talk to about it and i'm so thankful we have this website so we can help others.
