I am thinking about getting Cysta Proteq. I was wondering if it has helped anyone with frequency and flares. Can you take it while taking Elmiron?

CYSTOPROTEK - Algonot Plus - 5 in one

Algonot has now provided a new variation: Cystoprotek. How is it different? While it still contains the quercetin, chondroitin sulfate & glucosamine found in the original Algonot formula, this new variation also includes Kernel Olive Oil (to increase absorption) and Sodium Hyaluronate which has been used, for some time, as a bladder coating. (Capsules contain gelatin from pork)

NOW AVAILABLE! Dr. Theoharides appeared in the ICN Guest Lecture series on April 22, 2003 to discuss this new product, how it differs from Algonot Plus and why they believe this product can help! Review the transcript here!

New! Research presented at the 2003 Bladder Symposium demonstrates that Cystoprotek has been helpful in dramatically improving the symptoms of IC. Check our 2004 ICN News Special Report for additional information on this important study.

Price: $34.99

I haven't read anywhere that you can't take it while on elmiron .....and with ICN selling it I would think that would be something so important they would state it right on their selling page. Hopefully someone else can help you more.

Thanks Katrina. You have mentioned Cornsilk tablets as pain relief. Do they need to be taken daily or can they be taken as needed?
