feeling terrible tonight...

It feels like I might have a UTI. Figures, it happens to me on a Saturday night...I made the mistake of going to the ER for my pain one time ( i was so desperate for any type of help....) and ended up paying for that out of my nose. The 24-7 Med clinics arent exactley a bargain either. .....Great, and now I am getting stomach cramps like I will have to go "#2" which is going to feel lovely on my urethra Im sure.....*praying*

*sigh*this is enough to make you go crazy, I just want it to go away. My pain usually only lasts 24 hours, which is why i sometimes suspect that I have a UTI and not a flare (despite the tests coming back negative for infection). Ive popped about every pill I have for pain- silly me, cause nothing ever helps anyways, except for a warm bath and my heating pad....and its like 90degrees here in Sacramento. Just what I want to do! Not!

Hmm, I just realized that this should be in the "ranting" forum.....oh well, you all understand. I didnt intend to rant when I started :lmao:

I sure hope you all are doing better than I am right now. Im off for a bath.

Sometimes when the weather is really hot, I find that a cold pack will help ease bladder spasms for me --- you might give that a try. I keep a package of frozen peas in my freezer to use as a cold pack --- wrapped in a small towel, it works perfect.

Of course! What is a UTI if it's not on a weekend or holiday! Or even better--while you are on vacation out of town. Can you relate? And who can tell the difference between UTIs and flares? Do you have a fever? Wishing you a speedy recovery and a good night's sleep. Good luck!
