Just found out the other day that I can't large amounts of tomato sauce. I was in sooo much pain the next day that all I wanted to do was stay in bed. I can eat tomato sauce in small amounts and if it's spread out, but forget it if it's spaghetti or ravioli or even lasagna (my fav). I can have white chocolate tho, yay!!!!!!

I'm glad you found that out, firewriter, but too bad it had to be the hard way!! :( If I even LOOK at a tomato, I go into a flare!!!

Hope you're feeling better soon,

Hugs,
Alexa

Thanks Alexa, I found out the hard way that i can't have hot dogs either, which is probably a good thing, I am soooo burnt out on hot dogs. My b/f's son is a very picky eater, he'll eat hot dogs all day if you let him.

I've found Prelief helps if I want to eat "Italian" i.e. foods with tomato sauce. If I want tomatos I eat yellow ones or romas. They have a higher sugar content. Since I've been in a major flair I am being extra careful with the diet. It does help, it just gets boring. Have you tried Kosher Hot Dogs? It is the preservatives that gets me in any sandwich meats. I found out by accident that kosher foods don't cause as much trouble.
