So what do you all eat on a typical day? I thought this might help us suffering from IC and not having a clue what to chow down on

I guess I'm one of the rare ones. I can eat pizza. (Just order it with little or no sauce). They have always accomodated me with getting the order right since we always order this way.

When the occasional flare is happening I do eat grilled chicken and plain rice. Or a plain baked potato. Just about any meat that's grilled doesn't seem to bother me. Also drinking lots of water gets me through the day...

Hopefully someone else will post for you who goes by the IC diet better..

Though it doesn't look like it here, I'm actually pretty limited in diet. Most of this list is from the left hand column of the IC diet....

Breakfast: Nature's Path Corn Flakes
Oatmeal
Kashi-7-in-the-morning cereal
Waffles I made myself, then put in freezer for fast breakfast
puroast low acid decaf house coffee with nonfat milk & 2 preliefs


Lunch: Leftovers from dinner
Wrap sandwich made from Trader Joe Lavash bread & grilled
chicken or deli counter oven roast turkey, mozzarella slice,
romaine lettuce, with Pringles Original chips or pretzels
Meatloaf sandwich (Taste of the Good Life cookbook meatloaf
recipe) with Lays Potato chips or baby carrots
Corn muffin, hard boiled egg or lowfat cottage cheese, baby
carrots
Grilled mozzarella cheese sandwich

Dinner Steak (broiled), baked potato with butter, broccoli
Grilled chicken, rice, sauteed zucchini &/or salad
Calzone (homemade with IC safe ingredients), salad with dressing
made from pear juice/olive oil/dried basil
Spinach salad with pearjuice/oliveoil/driedbasil dressing & grilled
chicken & sunflower seeds tossed in.
Chicken soup & corn muffin or crackers
Beef & barley soup
Chicken coated in cornstarch/sugar/salt mix & pan cooked over
med heat in teflon pan, served with white rice & steamed
veggies.
Omelet with mozzarella cheese & one or more veggies (diced
zucchini, chopped broccoli, sliced mushrooms) & toast
Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, tarragon carrots (recipes from Taste
of the Good Life cookbook)
Bad day? Pancakes for dinner!

Add to this list way too many desserts and that's what I eat!!!
