Hi all,
Went to my uro today, and he wants me to try lidoderm patches.Anyone know if they start working right away or? OR have they had any experience or luck with em at all? I am only using one atm to try it out.He said I could put up to 3,but them suckers are pretty big, and my pain is low pelvic usually.I am having pain and pressure but it is more near my urethra, obviously the patch is sitting low on my pelvic area.I can't stick it to my urethra, or can I hehe....j/k

How is the LidodermŽ patch used?
The LidodermŽ patch is easy to apply and easy to remove. It is designed for use directly on the painful area. The patch is 10 cm x 14 cm in size. Up to three patches can be applied to the most painful areas.

Patches should be applied only to intact skin with no blisters. Use no more than three patches at one time. Patches should be worn for no more than 12 hours within any 24-hour period (ie, 12 hours with patches on and 12 hours with patches off).

Personal i have never used this i looked this up and got this information.
Good Luck and I pray it works for you.
sending you hugs and prayers
Rhonda

Thanks for the info! I used one yesterday.I did not know if it was helping or not til I took it off, then I noticed my bladder started cramping.Could be coincedence I guess. My pain is so low sometimes though, I would have to wear on my pelvic bone area at times.I had it pretty low yesterday.I wonder if I could cut it to wear it lower, as it is kinda wide.Thank goodness it does not pull hair, like most adhesives lol.
