Hey folks,

My sister and I attended a food show last week in search of IC friendly food products and we think we've found some winners! The Perfect Pear, in the Napa Valley, makes three awesome products which I think you might want to try.

Their Pear/Cinnamon Jelly is just a plain pear jelly (beautiful color, by the way) with a cinnamon stick in it. I tried it, didn't bother my bladder... and it is surprisingly cinnamony considering that it only has a stick in it for flavor.

Their Pear Fig Jam was my personal favorite... very thick, fruity and FRESH. Since I love fig newtons, I was anxious to try this one.. and it's really good!

Our favorite was, by far, the Pear Cinnamon Maple Syrup. Very light, fresh and you can just imagine it poured over a pear half and scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yummm!!

Also, we found a woman owned company in oregon that makes awesome creamed honeys for those patients who need to drink hot water and honey. I loved these and bought them on the spot. We have three flavors... Cinnamon, Raspberry and Peach.

Now available in the ICN shop! (http://www.ic-network.com/shop/)

The jelly and syrup sounds good too.
Thanks for bringing new and exciting products to the ICN shop.
It is so wonderful to have snack foods that our IC bladders can tolerate!!
I am a Pear Pear bar junkie!! I love them!! Even my non-IC friends love them!!
It is nice to enjoy what you eat!!

Jill,

I just can't thank you enough for your efforts in everything of course, but at this moment, in searching out food products for icers. My ic is mainly managed by a strict ic diet since I am so food sensitive. I just always feel so deprived and left out of the foody world. It is so FUN to be able to try a new product. Sort of makes me feel normal. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Love,
Hope :cat:

Jill,
Can you do me a favor and check the Carb count on the syrup? Being a diabetic I usually go for Sugar Free Syrup but your description of this syrup has me wanting it.
