How do you know which is the best choice between Algonot Plus, CystaQ or CystoProtek?

Thanks!

Frankly, I'd be very interested to know if any of these things actually work at all.

I am afraid that there are a lot of "treatments" out there that just end up being snake-oil....that is, an expensive placebo.

I've heard really good things about Cystoprotek. It gave me a terrible migraine, but that could be because I've just recently discovered I'm allergic to fish and shellfish. It's partly made from shark cartilage.

My thought when it comes to all meds, looking back over the past year, my own experience, and reading so many people's posts, is that no one thing usually "fixes" everything about IC, but the right combination is what's needed. (And darn it, that's different for everybody.) I can't wait til they figure out what the different subtypes of IC are, so we won't have to "guinea pig" everything til we figure it out...

Trial and error is the only way with any of the strategies for IC. There isn't one thing that's perfect for everyone. Of course, advice from your doctor is critically important!
