I found a GREAT family practice doctor!!

I went in today for a physical, and was nervous because I wasnt sure if she knew anything about IC. I had printed out some info for her just in case. While we were speaking, I said "well, I see a urologist-" and she inturpts and says "Do you have IC?" :woohoo: :bow: I was so relieved! She is absolutley wonderful, and during my pap smear, without me even asking, she went and got the smallest tool (dont know the name) so that it wouldnt hurt me. Anyways, I just wanted to share that with someone. :)

:hi: Breanna! I am so happy that you have found a doc you can work with, and who is kind and compassionate. My gp doc is that way also, and if he ever moved, I'd be right behind him!!!lol :D I wish we could colne these docs so everyone could have the special priveledge of having an understanding , compassionate doc. I love to hear stories like this. I can only imagine how good you must have felt.

I like my family physician, but he doesn't understand too much about IC. I prefer not to discuss it with him, and it's a shame because my IC ties in with so many other issues that are going on.
