frustrated!!!

I am having a bad day today. I have been up and down to the bathroom about 50 to 60 times. I called my doctor and all the nurse said was "Do you have your interstim on? Well, of course I do! The earliest they could get me in for an appointment was in 2 and 1/2 weeks. How do I get through to them (the nurses) that I need help? Any suggestions?

You may need to be checked for an infection. Does your RN not no that doesnt work for pain How rude of the RN. I would call back in the morning and talk to the head RN if that isnt how you talked to and try to get a quicker appt.
if that doesnt work can you go to a family doctor for help??
in the mean time try ice on the bladder or heat which ever is best for you.
if the pain just is where you can't stand it any longer call your doctor and tell them you are on your way to the ER you can't stand the pain any longer IF you end up in the ER have the doctor who sees you call your doctor back IF they will and demand you to be seen quicker.

I agree that you should be checked for a UTI...Is there another doctor of yours you can call that would take a urine sample from you before 2 1/2 weeks...Primary care? Gyno??? I would call your uro's office back and ask that the DOCTOR call you back!!!

2-1/2 weeks when you're that sick? That's ridiculous. When I got that sick I staged a sit-in at the doctor's office, waiting outside the door when they arrived. Only do that if you're desperate, because it can really tick people off, but it finally got the tests run that I needed. Maybe if you tell them that otherwise you'll be having the doctor at the ER call them since they won't know what to do for you, they'll work you in...

Am so sorry you're feeling bad. Wishing you better days soon!!!! (Way sooner than 2-1/2 weeks! What is wrong with these people!!!)
