Well, last week I saw the NP who knew all about IC and she knows how painful it is but said only the doc can decide if he wants to put me on something which I don't see him until 8/22. I think the pain will kill me by then. I just feel so horrible :toilet: :yikes: . I really don't know what to do but cry it hurts so bad!!!!!
Alexis, I'm sorry you are in so much pain. I have never been pregnant and can't imagine what you are going through. I do hope you get some reliefe soon. :dogrun:

Alexis, hi, I am so sorry you are suffering so terribly. I've never been pregnant either and I cant image going a single day without taking any meds. I guess if it gets unbearable go to the ER. Try to hang in there. I will hold the good thought for you. Beth

I'm thinking there must be a time sooner than that when you can see your doctor. I would at least give them a call. That's too long to go without help with your pain.
Sending an encouraging hug,
Donna

Alexis, I'm so sorry you are hurting, please see the doctor as soon as you can, it doesn't seem right to me that you should suffer like this.
I don't know what medicines are allowed in pregnancy but I hope so much that something can be done for you, that you won't hurt anymore.
Blessings, Lori

:kissing:Hi Allie-
I am so sorry that you are still struggling-you are in my prayers every night. Do you think that you or maybe even your husband (sometimes men are better at these things) could call the doctor's office and explain how much pain you are in? I'm here if you need me...

Called docs office yesterday and my doc is out of town, they said I could see the NP but she is the one who said only the doc can prescribe me something last week. The receptionist said she would leave word for the doc when he calls in but still haven't heard anything... so right now I am just trying to be kind to myself and rest as much as possible.... I just keep telling myself this baby is worth the pain... the power of positive thinking (not that it's working but it's all I have)
Thanx for the support...

Alexis...
It is unbelievable that you cannot get help. Especially since it is safe to take certain pain killers, even in the first trimester. As you know, I have been on Percocet all along, and am now 15 weeks. Several OBs and high risk specialists were consulted on the safety of this, and all concurred. How about going to the ER? At least they would be able to give you something that might get you through until the 22nd. Or is the ER in your town clueless re. IC? This much stress from the pain is not healthy for either you or the baby. I know going to the ER sucks, but you having to suffer like this is beyond ridiculous. Please keep in touch about how you are doing. God Bless, and take care of yourself...
