IC diagnosed Last Friday

Well I had my first Crystro/Hydro done on Friday. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would have been after reading about them in the message boards. My doctor said it was a classic case of IC. He told me he pumped in only 150cc's of fluid. Not much but still about 5 times as much as on my urodynamic test while I was awake. The pain I had been feeling prior to the procedure is still there but not as intense. Especially at night when I lay down the pain doesn't bother me as much. Hopefully this will last for a while but I'm not counting on it.
A Question for the members who have had this procedure multiple times, Does the amount of fluid they pump into your bladder increase with each Hyro? 150cc's doesn't seem to be too much.

I'm glad the procedure went well for you and that it may have helped your symptoms. I have had many hydrodistentions and my bladder has stayed about the same since the first one back in 1975. I haven't increased my capacity, but the good news is that I haven't lost any either.

I will be going in Wednesday for another hydro, which will be number 36.

I AM HAVING A PROBLEM W/MY PRIMARY DOC. HE SAYS HE'S BEEN GIVING ME PAIN MEDS 4 ALMOST 3 YRS & HE'S ONLY A PRIMARY DOC. I NEED MY PAIN MEDS. I'M IN SO MUCH PAIN DAILY, IF HE WON'T GIVE THEM 2 ME I HAVE 2 FIND A DOC THAT WILL. THE PAIN IS UNBEARABLE, I TAKE DEMEROL 4 PAIN. SO ITS QUITE SEVERE. SO ANYONE WHO LIVES REMOTELY CLOSE I JUST NEED A DOC 2 PRESCRIBE PAIN MEDS. I HAVE 7 DOCS & NOT 1 OTHER THAN MY PRIMARY DOC WILL EVER GIVE ME PAIN MEDS. THAT'S CRAZY! I'M N ALOT OF PAIN. SO IF ANYONE CAN HELP SEND ME A P.M. OR WHATEVER. :help: :help:
