bladder bleeding

Not sure where to post this so I'm putting it here for now.
I am still in remission but a couple weeks back I noticed after having lemonade that my bladder actually bled a bit. I noticed it happened after my urgency had kicked in, even though I'd already gone to the bathroom. I'm just wondering has anyone else had this happen?

Hi Amy,
I have ..but Not from lemonade I cant drink it. I call my doctor at the first sign of blood because for me its usually a sign I have a infection.Did you let your doctor know ?

i agree with kelly. it could be an infection. any time you can see blood, have a urinalysis done. at least for the peace of mind.

Lemonade? I don't know of any ICer who can drink that one without a problem.

I agree that you need to be tested for infection.

I didn't notify my doctor because it wasn't much and he's on vacation right now. I didn't have really any problems with drinking the lemonade or even cranberry juice it doesn't give me pain or anything. In the past when I've had infections it really hurt but the bleeding only happened 2 times and all I felt was a flinch of pain but that's about it and it hasn't happened since. I guess if it comes back by the time my doctor is back then I'll get it checked out.
