abdominal pain

I was just wondering if anyone else experiences pain in thier abdomine that they can touch. I have a shot of pain and if i touch my abdomine i recreate the pain. Is this a symptom that other people have or am I alone in this one?

It is hard to know from person to person if the pain that you are experiencing from a touch to your abdomen is caused by the same thing for another (does that make sense)? I know I often have pain when my abdomen is touched either by myself or a doctor. Sometimes the pain can be caused by different things..sometimes it may be my bowels, sometimes my bladder...etc...I think that you should explain your pain to your doctor and see what he/she thinks...Is the pain constant?? I know this must not be much help but....I tried lol!! I get poked so much by doctors I think that is what causes my pain half the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had severe abdominal pain . My doctors all but wrote it off as IC. I finally have the right team of doctors and am getting it looked into. My pain can become wicked any time day or night. I do think letting your doctor know your symptoms is a good idea.

I agree a call to the doctors office never hurts. It could be so many things that only a doc will be able to determine what it's from. Hugs, Kathi
